#Sceptre - Week Commencing 17th November
We are pleased to announce that the week commencing 17th November marked the commencement of the #Sceptre campaign. This initiative encourages members of the public to surrender or drop off unwanted knives and blades at designated knife surrender bins located at various sites. The objective of this campaign is to ensure the safe and secure disposal of these items.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated knife surrender bin available at Oswestry Police Station. Today, a local resident took the commendable step of visiting the station to surrender a substantial bladed item that had previously belonged to a family member. PCSO Neeves from the Oswestry Central Safer Neighbourhood Team took possession of the item and proceeded with its careful disposal.
We would like to thank this member of the community for their commitment to ensuring the safe destruction of the unwanted item, and preventing any potential risk associated with it falling into the wrong hands. Thank you for your support in promoting community safety.  | |
